The “Yonko” points leaderboard is a system we established very early into hosting the One Piece TCG, coming from the term used in the anime and manga referring to The Four Emperors of the Sea. We wanted our locals to have more fun and incentive to play the game here at LootBox. With this leaderboard system, players try to earn a top spot and win boxes of the upcoming set each season. To up the ante, we have end of the season “Yonko Hunts,” in which the top four of that night’s tournament face off against the previous set’s Yonkos for a chance at an extra boost of points, and the Yonkos, a chance to defend their throne.
